Biography
I am Sherri Hayat, and I lead our global Mergers & Acquisitions offering within our Legal Managed Solutions: Commercial Division.
I also lead a diverse team of commercial lawyers to provide top-quality, innovative solutions to our clients.
With over a decade of experience in providing legal services, I have spent 8 years engaged in complex commercial legal work at top-tier law firms and further served as Group Senior Legal Counsel at a large investment-holding company. I specialize in major commercial transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions, and support the corporate and equity aspects of energy and infrastructure projects.
I have led cross-border M&A transactions for our clients in multiple jurisdictions, including Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, the UK, Ukraine, and the USA. Prior to joining Morae, I supported major cross-border M&A transactions in over 33 jurisdictions worldwide. We support our clients with every aspect of the M&A process, including structuring, negotiation, conducting legal due diligence, drafting transactional agreements, and managing the closing process.
